and Omneon Debut Joint Solution for Video Storage Networking

Antipolis, 10th April 2007- Castify Networks announced today
that it has integrated its EBN content distribution system with the
Omneon MediaGrid high-performance active storage system for the secure
transfer and distribution of media content. The integrated solution
enables producers, post-production sites, and playout centers to
benefit from secure and controlled content movement between remote
sites and removes existing inefficiencies for content exchange by
enabling high-performance media processing before and after transfers.
The two companies will be demonstrating the integrated solution at
NAB2007 in the Omneon booth (#SU1326).

Video
material that is processed and edited within the Omneon MediaGrid
storage system can now be exchanged directly to another or multiple
other remote MediaGrid systems interconnected by satellite or
terrestrial connections in a secure and controlled way.

scheduling, multi-site targeting and tracking features guarantee full
control over media in transit between locations. Omneon’s
high-availability MediaGrid storage integrated with Castify’s
secure distribution system provides the reliability the media industry
demands.
